But my hands have not been idle! No!
And since I was done with Donna's, I started on Brenna's/Lauren's. I am making them matching pink and purple scarves (and maybe hats, who knows), but don't know yet who gets which. You can't tell from the pic, but it's soft and fuzzy. Maybe I need to invent feel-o-vision :)
One thing about my knitting habit that's been bugging me is that I can't share any of this with Kimie. If she knows I'm knitting, she'll know I'm knitting for her and I'm sure she'll figure out what. So when she called yesterday and asked if I'd read any books, I couldn't say "well, no, I've been knitting mostly." It's strange that there's something about me that I'm sharing with lots of people that I'm not sharing with her, my friend of 26 years! Makes me wonder if there's anything she doesn't share with me...
Oh well, can't get too worried about that. Gotta get back to work!

Yay! Maybe it'll actually be cold this Christmas! Speaking of books I just finished THE KITE RUNNER, and it was EXCELLENT! You should check it out...when you're not knitting, of course!
Donna’s scarf looks nice and soft also.
